When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office.
Your initial exam and teeth cleaning appointment will last approximately one hour and 10 minutes. Some oral radiographs (X-rays) will be taken to help us assess the condition of your teeth and gums. One of our skilled hygienists will clean your teeth; provide a periodontal screening and present customized oral hygiene instructions to help you prevent future dental problems. The doctor will then examine you and note any concerns. At that time, we will discuss any treatment needs you may have and outline the various options that are available. You will then be free to decide which type of dentistry is right for you.
